Fix keyboard with ghosting problems

So your kid just complained that their keyboard has stopped working and that he's not able to press multiple keys at the same time. Or that his keyboard is ghosting.

The most common solutions for this is cleaning your keyboard. Most likely, something like dirt, food, or other yuckiness that populates kid's hands just got inside the keys and is making some of the keys in your keyboard stick.

  1. The first step would be to clean the surface of your keyboard with a damp cloth as suggested here.
  2. You can also use a handheld vacuum cleaner and vacuum the keyboard. This will help remove any debris from inside the keys.
  3. You can also buy a compressed air can and blow the dust or other small particles that may have gotten in-between the keys.

If all this fails, maybe is time to buy a new keyboard.
